Support for teachers
If you teach a course at NTNU, UiO, UiB or HiVe within the nanotechnology field that you think might be suitable for students at the partner institutions as well as for those in your own institution, you might consider reorganizing the course and teach it on compact form. The PhD Network can contribute financially to new courses or reorganization of old courses that are within the scope of the network. The network can provide NOK 20.000 per 5 credits (studiepoeng) for the reorganization of already existing courses, and NOK 40.000 per 5 credits for the establishment of new courses. Additional support might be given based on applications. The financial support is given for the preparation of courses, not to run them, which implies that each course can only expect to get support one time.
Travel support for guest lecturers
If you would like to invite a guest lecturer to a PhD course which is part of the PhD Network course list, you may apply for financial support from the Norwegian PhD Network on Nanotechnology for Microsystems.
