Lab facilities at the University of Bergen

The UiB Nanostructures Laboratory was opened in 2011. It is a state of the art facility for versatile nanostructuring, equipped with a Raith E-line electron lithography device, a reactive ion etcher (790+) from Plasmatherm, a fume cupboard for wet etching (including HF etching) and an electron beam evaporator (BJD 2000) from Themescal. The critical steps are performed in an ISO 5 classified cleanroom from MCRT.

Requests regarding access and training on the equipment may be sent to prof. Bodil Holst
